for well over a year, i've wanted to make a candle that is pure nostalgia. a memory in a candle. this is finally it. the name, ofc, inspired by the music of my youth (+ tbh present too)
for me, this is an ode to it's 2005-7 summers. or for you, it may be whatever year you remember going into a grunge shop, a crystal shop for the first time. this scent is the scent of those beautiful shops. incense in the air with a beautiful smoky, dusty, sweetness. it wafts as you walk past but when you leave your hair smells of it.
my memories of sitting on the kerb with skateboarders until the sun went down, wearing cut up band tees + bandanas in my hair, it was going to see poppunk shows at the astoria RIP, myspace angles, the golden years of running around town, experiencing teenage life before life began life'ing.
it is a beautiful light blend of: nag champa, amber, fig + a touch of frankincense.
